Hello Everyone!
March is about halfway over already! And tomorrow is St. Patrick’s Day! Everyone remember to wear green! (This is also a reminder to myself because I always forget)
This week we had a paper airplane contest! We tested three different plane designs and found that the one designed to glide went the farthest. It was a lot of fun! And because there are many paper airplane designs, there might be more to come in the future!
Next week we will have our First Day of Spring celebration on Friday. (The official first day of spring is March 19th, three days from now!) Come for crafts and stories!
Story time will be on Thursday from 10:45 to 11:45 am. I found a box of percussion instruments, so we will try to incorporate those!
We will have an information session on the April 8th eclipse on Wednesday, March 27th from 5-6 pm. Come learn how to view the eclipse safely and make pinhole projectors, which are a simple way to view the eclipse without eclipse glasses.
The Paper Football Tournament will happen on Monday, March 25th, from 5-6 pm.
Hope to see you at the library!
Kaitlyn
