Hello everyone!
On Thursday I attended a webinar about running the Summer Reading Program. It feels like summer is so far away, but it’ll be here before we know it, and with it, more library activities!
We have plenty going on next week! On Wednesday from 3:30 to 4 we will have Yarn Time! Come knit, crochet, or just tie knots with us! I will have instructional videos prepared and will try to teach anyone who wants to learn how to crochet, so no experience is necessary! If you already own crochet or knitting supplies, please bring them in, as we will have a limited amount of hooks and needles available.
On Thursday comes the return of Story Time, as well as our Puppet Theater Extravaganza at 1 pm. We’ll be putting our puppet theater to good use! If you can’t find a puppet you like, then you can make one at the puppet crafting station.
Ugly Sweaters for the Ugly Sweater Design Contest are due on Friday, December 15. On Thursday, at 2:30 we will have an ugly sweater crafting workshop, where you can come take advantage of the library’s very random art supplies collection to make your sweater! I’ve attached a very ugly outline of a sweater to this email for anyone who wants to use it. (It’s probably better to copy the shape rather than print it)
