Cathy Vincevic, Director
Director of the Gordon-Nash Library in New Hampton, N.H. Ms. Vincevic is also a painter, collage creator, curator, writer, and performance artist, Ms. Vincevic has been a member of Mobius since 1994. She has performed in Sarajevo, Bosnia, Staten Island, NYC in the Lumen Festival and has also been seen at the Fountain Festival in NYC, MuBE, in Brazil, Skop Skoleto, in Skopje, Macedonia, Zadar, Croatia, the Convergence Festival in Providence, Rhode Island, A Book About Death (international mail art), The Body (online blog) as well as many other locations. Her performance work includes solo and collaborative pieces. Her memoir, The Tiki Room, was published in 2008. She has a B. A. from Vermont College and an M.A. from Goddard College where she studied writing and refugee issues.
Christine Hunewell, Children’s Librarian
Christine has lived in New Hampton since 1986. She has a BS in Education from Framingham State College and a Masters in Early Childhood/Technology from Plymouth State University. She also has a CAGS in Educational Leadership from Plymouth. She retired from the Newfound Area Schools after 40 years of teaching, then came to work at library because she still loves books, reading, and especially children.
Brandie Martinez, Library Assistant
Brandie is from New Hampton. When she was younger she never liked to read but now she loves it and reads all the time. She loves working at the library and considers it a “dream job.” She also loves working with Christine at the Children’s Storytime and Summer Reading Program. Brandie started out at the library as a volunteer with the Storytime. Thank you Brandie.
Robert is a poet. He has a Masters of Education in Library Media, Non-Certified from Plymouth State University. He was the Associate Editor for Centripetal Literacy Journal. He was also the Open Mic MC at Biederman’s Open Mic for PSU Poets and Writers as well as a staff writer for The Clock and much more. Robert is our major cataloger and he runs the Noon Book Group!
Elizabeth comes to us with an MA in teaching Science Education, from Hamiltion College, a nd a B.A. in Chemistry with Honors in Dance and a Minor in Psychology from Plymouth State. She also has her NHDOE certification in Library/Media having finished the Graduate Level Library Media Ceritification Program at Montana State University. Elizabeth takes care of our interlibrary loans and those pesky over-due books.
